Couples AcroYoga Workshop in Tel Aviv

Make time for the two of you and try something new together. In a private AcroYoga session you learn to support and be supported, to move in sync and to progress at your own pace, with guidance and spotting all the way through. No experience needed.

A couples AcroYoga workshop is a private session where the two of you learn to support and fly together: one of you is the base, the other the flyer, and an instructor spots every exercise. You don't need prior experience, special fitness or flexibility. Couples come for a different kind of date, a gift, or a surprise for a birthday or an anniversary.

What happens in the session?

The session is built step by step, so even if this is your first time trying AcroYoga, you can feel at ease from the start:

  1. Warm-up and tuning in — light movement, breathing and shared attention, to find your rhythm as a pair.
  2. Support, balance and the two roles — on the ground you learn how to support properly and how to communicate without words, and you try both roles, base and flyer, to find what suits each of you.
  3. Progressing to poses — according to what you can do and feel comfortable with. We start with stable poses such as the "throne" and the "front bird", where one of you rests on the other's feet, and when the base is steady and you're both ready, you reach the moment when one of you is in the air.

The instructor spots throughout, and you only move on to the next step when you're both ready for it.

More than a pose. A shared experience.

AcroYoga is full of small moments where you have to really pay attention to each other: asking what feels comfortable, saying you need more support, slowing down or trying again. Sometimes one of you is ready to move on and the other needs another moment. There's no rush — we adapt the practice to a pace that works for both of you.

Who is it for, and what if we're nervous?

No experience: the session is built for couples who start from zero. You don't need a background in AcroYoga, yoga or sport, and you don't need exceptional fitness or flexibility.

Differences between you: you don't need to be at the same fitness level, the same height or the same weight. We adapt the roles and exercises to each couple.

Nerves or shyness: one of you is excited and the other a little nervous? That's okay. You don't need the same confidence or experience. In your private session, the focus is on the two of you: we start on the ground, check what feels comfortable for both of you, and you can slow down or stop at any point.

Safety: the instructor provides guidance and spotting throughout the practice. We progress gradually from easier to more challenging exercises and adapt the practice to your ability and comfort. You learn how to communicate, how to come down from a pose and when to stop. If you have an injury or a limitation, write to us before the session and we'll check together what suits you.

Who guides the session?

Sessions are guided by the AcroNationTLV team: Shai Piro, Itamar Pinchas and Linoy Bibi, three instructors with different approaches to movement. Meet the team and their specialties →

  1. 1. Write to us

A short WhatsApp message: when you'd like to come, and whether it's for the two of you or a gift.

  2. 2. Settle the details

Date, place and price, whatever works for you.

  3. 3. Come to the session

Usually between one hour and an hour and a half, depending on your pace and what you'd like to focus on. We set the exact time in advance on WhatsApp.
